  • A view of the historic Wazir Khan Mosque near Lahore's Delhi gate under moonlight.<br /> <br /> Masjid (Mosque) Wazir Khan's construction started around 1634 A.D. during the reign of Mughal Emperor Shahjehan and was completed in about 7 years. While much smaller than the famous "Badshahi Mosque" of Lahore and "Jamma Masjid" of Delhi, it is regarded as one of the most beautiful. The entire mosque is built with "kankar lime" with a sparkling of red sand-stone.
